The original storyline of Carbon is different from what we know. But before that, let me bust a myth: The race in the past is in San Juan; Kempton Cranes. The race is in Palmont. Now for the clues. The player escapes via Carbon Canyon. The player returns via Carbon Canyon as well. Remember the deleted cutscene where Cross backs into the player's car, which is mysteriously the Supra? That is not the only place where the Supra appears. The Supra was supposed to appear throughout. Two cutscenes are missing from the final game. Felipe's video about the Chrysler being probably involved in the game's story. The Chrysler part looks similar to the scene before the beginning of a boss race. The Chrysler may have been the boss of San Juan. Here are my thoughts: 1. The Supra was supposed to be there in MW, but got replaced with the M3 GTR. OR 2. The player replaced the Supra with the M3 GTR on the way to Rockport and got it back while returning to Palmont. OR 3. Carbon's storyline was supposed to be independent: The player rises as a racer under the assistance and guidance of Darius. He eventually gains enough rep for a showdown with the three bosses. The police appears, and only the player manages to escape. He returns after 5 years to get the city and his name back.(A bit unlikely, since Neville mentions Rockport, but then, none of the pre-release maps of Rockport have that road leading out of it) What are your thoughts?

Wow, nice findings.
I think the 2° option makes more sense.
Btw: "(A bit unlikely, since Neville mentions Rockport, but then, none of the pre-release maps of Rockport have that road leading out of it)" Maybe, or the road just isn't on the map, as it was under renovation/construction.
@edit
I checked, and the cutscenes that you showed aren't missing.

Felipe, can you post a screenshot of your MOVIES folder? I want to see which cutscenes are missing for me. Also, which version of Carbon do you have? Mine is CE 1.4

Just download the NFS Multimedia Converter v.1.5.1, for convert .VP6 files to .AVI, and you will be able to see the movies.

Ah, so that's what happened. You misunderstood the meaning of that red box Felipe. See the filenames. After seq02 comes seq05. seq03 and seq04 are missing. This is what I meant by "two cutscenes are missing".

I Really think that if UG2 And MW didn't exist Carbon's name should have been Need For Speed Underground 2 : The Comeback
