Guys.. you can open the files of the PS2 demo with Tex-Ed... Wanna know what i found? "MINIMAP_ICON_SPEED_TRAP" im gonna let that sink in for a bit... SPEED TRAP. AW HELL YES! Proof of cops... CHECK! (btw you cant see images or anything) "MINIMAP_ICON_COP_STAR" "XE_EXPLOSIONA" holy crap... "GETAWAY_DISTANCE_BACKIN" that's just a bit. you guys HAVE to get this. im gonna upload the files somewhere. you have to see them for yourself Actually the textute "MINIMAP_ICON_COP_STAR" is used for Magazines and DVD Covers. |

That's really interesting, I wonder what " GETAWAY _ DISTANCE _ BACKIN " was supposed to be. If you find anything else, post it

That probably has to so with the outrun races, fits well from the file name.

That's really interesting, I wonder what " GETAWAY _ DISTANCE _ BACKIN " was supposed to be. If you find anything else, post it probably what LACooper said. there's over 1mil. files but i can try finding stuff. also every file i clicked didnt show up as a pic. it just had the list of files. |

just saying you can also download the files and open them with tex ed to take a look at them by yourself. we might find more stuff like that  and i was thinking. what if i replace the .BIN files from the demo to the ones in the full game? all i have to do is download the full version UG2 for PS2 and replace the files. i could also do vice versa (switch full game files to demo files... which could lead to instability) |

UPDATE : To play any downloaded demo on a PS2 the PS2 HAS to be modded. so if you're not willing to open your PS2 and mod it (its just switching disks. but its to install a program to the memory card.no chips or any of that complicated stuff. i modded 2 PS2's. one of them by myself and it worked out. the risk is... its pretty bad. if the reading laser from the drive hits your eye, then that's it. you go blind from that eye. i did it with sunglasses- kinda useless but meh -and i looked away. took some time but its better than going blind no? I AM NOT HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HARM YOU DO TO YOURSELF OR YOUR PS2. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED) you're kinda out of luck. if i can do it (and im 12  ) you can too. i mean come on. i went in with just a vid to help me. IF you want to do it then i'll post a link to a vid on how to do it. ALSO, there's very different method for BOTH PS2 models : Phat/Fat and Slim. i modded 2 phat PS2's. i have no idea on how to mod the slim. ITS 100% FREE... kinda. it costed me about $1 cuz i had to get 007 Agent Under fire... but thats about it. it does NOT require swap magic. What you need : A copy of 007 Agent Under Fire (any version works) or to make it easier since this IS a NFS Website NFS UG2 works too. 007 Agent Under fire is the easiest and most common. here's a list of the games that work : theisozone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=3350

im probably gonna get banned for spam but you guys wont care after ya see this. i got my hands on a PS2 demo of NFS Carbon. i found the demo disc files on the ISO zone and im downloading it RIGHT NOW. hopefully it works cuz if it does then im getting the MW2005 demo too. EDIT : The MW2005 demo disc doesnt seem to be on the internet... i'll keep looking. if i cant find it then im looking up UG1's demo disc. if you wanna look for them too then here you go : UG1 Demo : Official PlayStation 2 Magazine Demo 40 (Europe) MW2005 Demo : Official PlayStation 2 Magazine Demo 65 (Europe) and the link for the Carbon demo disc : www.theisozone.com/downloads/playstation/ps2-isos/official-playstation-2-magazine-demo-disc-78-nov-2006/its a 1GB download but it has a bunch of demos you could try. but it has what we have all been looking for in ages. Thank you M8. looking for it right now! also this is to everyone. if you could perhaps help me look for an NTSC version of the PS2 demo disc that has carbon. its not the same # as the other one i showed you guys. U.S discs and EU discs have different #'s. |

Works like a charm! </div>No problem... i cant play it :/ i either find an NTSC .IMG pathcer (already tried one called "PAL 2 NTSC Patcer with Y-FIX" and its made SPECIFICALLY for PS2 games. it works but since i got a demo disc only the menu where you SELECT the demos can be patched with that.) get the NTSC version of the demo or demo disc OR get a PAL ps2 which i cant get. im desperate right now. tried using PCSX2 and i get max 15FPS with the game booster and its best boosting options (closing desktop and explorer.exe) so im screwed. i will use it on my new PC for sure! and i think that the MW2005 demo is in a demo disc WITH 007 from russia with love. that's what i found but im gonna keep looking. but so far im only finding PAL versions. also here's the NFS HP2 PS2 demo (if you want to request ANY demos from ANY series tell me and i'll find them for ya. i dont have much to do so im more than happy to help  ) : www.theisozone.com/downloads/playstation/ps2-isos/official-playstation-2-magazine-demo-disc-24-sep-2002/NOTE : the MW2005 demo seems to not be on the internet since it was in one of the really rare demo discs and the ppl who might have it dont upload the files. so no MW205 demo sadly. and the emulators have an option to add cheats. can someone add an OOL hack? felipe maybe after you and the other devs of the MW2005 1.4 patch are done maybe could you make some sort of OOL hack for the PS2 demo of carbon? maybe even make a standalone version of the demo! im just saying cuz if we could get out of level on the demo who KNOWS what we could find! if we got that i'd say we hit the jackpot UNLESS there's absolutely nothing outside san juan (probably that... but its worth a try. like it was worth a try looking for the demo in the first place!) |

The MW 2005 is easiest to be found on the From Russia With Love demo for the PS2, there's a User on YT SergeantCT or something who recorded videos off it, maybe someone knows him on here and can tell you more.
The demo was also available for the Xbox 360.
Interesting on the Carbon demo, the sky is the nice with that sunset, anyone able to record videos?
I'd like to give it a try but won't mess with ma PS2 just for that...so haha.

The MW 2005 is easiest to be found on the From Russia With Love demo for the PS2, there's a User on YT SergeantCT or something who recorded videos off it, maybe someone knows him on here and can tell you more. I'd like to give it a try but won't mess with ma PS2 just for that...so haha. a demo on a demo? you sure its not what i said? they're on the same DEMO disc... practically making both of us right... lol. and for the X360 i know there was a carbon demo but were you talking about a MW2005 demo on X360? and about messing with your PS2 there ARE some phat models that have a cord that's really easy to break making your PS2 a paperweight if broken. luckily mine didnt have that. neither did the other one! |

Don't think a demo was released for it. And you're lucky you have the slim cuz you don't even have to open it to jailbreak it. And well, it SLIM, unlike the model I have which is over half the size of a phat PS3 |
