11 year old brony goes to hospital for liking MLP

Bullying is a common sight in South Korea IIRC, and most of the victims are either subculture fans or either those odd-looking ones. So for me, it ain't a new sight.

Oh well, they're both weak (the assailant and the victim) inside, although the deadlier blow will most likely to be given by the victim if he ever considered taking revenge. Hope the poor guy will do a payback once he recovers, even if it means blowing their heads off one by one .

Welp, you're gonna get a taste of ridgericer's view on things now wether you like it or not. I know how it's like to be bullied every other day, I got picked on my 1st few months of 5th grade and all of 4th grade. I never once had the desire to kill myself even when it was really bad. I might've cried once or twice but I knew there was a way out of it. I guess I'm either an emotional brick wall, or people are too emotionally soft when it comes to things like this, I'm pretty sure it's the 2nd one. What seems to have happened is the kid probably told everyone at school about his brony affliction and then when the other kids realized what a brony was they knew it was unnatural for a guy who's 5 years older than the typical audience the show has to like MLP. I'll explain this later.

As far as bullying goes,I believe there are 5 reasons why people do it:
1: They're jealous of the victim for some reason.
2: They don't have many friends and they want to look tough to maybe gain some friends.
3: They want to express their thoughts profoundly towards the victim. I've done this before honestly.
4: They know something isn't right and they subliminally are giving the victim advice to live a better life. I'll admit I've done this too.
5: They're just racist or sexist and want the opposite race/gender victim to feel unwanted.

Obviously reasons 2 and 4 are a factor in this situation, reason 3 might play a part but I think it's just 2 and 4. I think their intentions were clear, to stop him from liking MLP because it's childish. Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for freedom of expression but that doesn't mean it's logically right to play with pony dolls and watch a show intended for kids half your age, in his case. Just like it's not logically right to be obsessed with blow-up-dolls instead of real people or dress up as a baby after work and play with an overhead mobile and building blocks. That's the only good reason behind the bullies' actions as far as I see things. The rest was unnecessary but to be completely honest, if I saw a guy at my school wearing a MLP shirt I'd struggle pretty hard not to laugh my head off, and I might joke about it with one of my friends. I usually wouldn't speak my mind in his face and tell him how much of a faggot I thought he was for wearing it then push him out of my way, I might be thinking on doing that but I wouldn't act on it unless it was someone who attempted to pick on me or my friends in the recent past if you catch my drift. Don't get mad at me for expressing my thoughts, please. If you wanna argue politics with me I'll gladly do so in a respectful way.
