Correct me if i'm wrong or haven't opened my eyes, and this is my first theory. but i just wanted to see what's in the game folder and i found this picture of the world map.  So there it is. you see the empty box under the map, what is that? also we see a road leads down. could it be any cities they are going to make? |

That road leads to Tri City, according to ingame signboards.

Actually, Laser, it is unconfirmed about the Tri City thing.
It says "Tri-Cities", which could mean three different cities.
It could or could not be the Tri City Bay area.

Actually, Laser, it is unconfirmed about the Tri City thing. It says "Tri-Cities", which could mean three different cities. It could or could not be the Tri City Bay area. that makes sense. Tri City is very big, i don't think Tri City can replace the whole empty block under palmont and rockport |

what i mean...you probably don't see the invisible part of the picture, you do if you watch under the picture, You probably think i have hit the ''enter'' a lot of times, but i haven't check the game folder:

Tri City - trinity of cities in most casual translation.  It containg three cities which merged together in meaning of administration, but they are still threated as separate urban areas. Actualy in NFSUC is kinda odd cuz these are not really mixed together, these are far from each other, take a look at real Tri City polish Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia merged in one as Tricity, Poland. I think Black Box graphics guy who made the texture just made small mistake. It's most possible option, they just mispelled that and somehow it passed to the game without fixing the mistake(maybe the didnt want to make new textures at all) Other option is that they mean multiple "Tri-Cities" which would be crazy.(little to no possibility) |

I know I'm just being off topic and not helping here, but not sure if there's much left to be added after what Kacpa said. I agree with him. I'll just add one more thing.
In the last 12 months or more, NFSW has become so miserable that there's no team of devs willing to work on it anymore. Rather sooner than later, this game will drown in its own misery (full of hackers, bugs, real money only content, server issues, no Free Roam chat for 2 years or something, many uber retarded news on its site, only cars available as "new" content, etc.) and die.

Palmont is pretty far from Rockport, but you are bitching about it, yeah it's nonsense but it's better than NFSUC/Criterion Style HWYs(almost all the time straight and loooooong, it may be good for some of you, but it's just boring to roam them if there wont be some great view's, which we didnt have at all in Tri City except sea some times but mostly we are in valley so we can see shit) |

I read 16 pages of mystery city on the mystery city topic, going to read more. i started to understand after reading it, i started to read it after posting this.  nfs world connection from rockport to palmont sucks, but it is still something. it would be fun if they added another map under, but i don't think they will. it has been 4 years and nothing + they use 4 years to create a dumb road? there is another road there they are still working at, and it has been 4 years and still not finished. Quicklime was shut down and they're not doing anything with World anymore. That's why the road is still unfinished. |

Yeah, World is done for unless a miracle happens and a dedicated team takes control over it. Nowadays the only thing that makes me play World from time to time is racing some people I know from WG. With the right people, you can have a bit of fun even on a miserable game lol

Yeah, World is done for unless a miracle happens and a dedicated team takes control over it. Nowadays the only thing that makes me play World from time to time is racing some people I know from WG. With the right people, you can have a bit of fun even on a miserable game lol true. i started playing it for 5 days ago lol |

I started playing world about 2.5 years ago. back when I was a little gaming noob and I had the settings at easy and I didn't know what rockport was. I haven't played world in about 8 months, it now is boring. I mean, they don't do anything now, and the map's all messed up, rockport and palmont shouldn't be so close, or have such incorrect connecting roads.

I haven't played world in about 8 months, it now is boring. I mean, they don't do anything now, and the map's all messed up, rockport and palmont shouldn't be so close, or have such incorrect connecting roads. its clearly for gameplay purpose. Its not canon. It dont need " real" connection. If i would real connection you should get distance of 600 miles and one boring straight hwy. |

I started playing NFS World in 2011, back at the time when it was a good game! Now it is just boring and 95% of the game contains speed boost!
But, anyway, it is kinda sad that the developers isn't working anymore. They said that there will be drift and drag modes, but we only have drag. Drift was never released. The Turnpike Road was never opened. BTW my theory is that Tri-City could be Olympic City, Bayview, Tri-City bay. But anyway, it doesn't matter, since it probably wont be opened anyway.

The bridge at the bottom of the screen is literally "the bridge to nowhere". Eduardo said that it'll never lead anywhere. There's also boards in downtown Rockport made by a fan by the name FrozenStar (nice girl, pretty). And are we really telling the lead artist who designed the original two cities that his design to connect the two cities is wrong? Really?
