The title says it all. Also you can explain (give reasons) why you like them, but it's not really important.
Before looking at my list, i would like to insist that i don't really like Underground 2, so don't cry if it's not on the list.
Mine are:
10. Hot Pursuit 2
9. Carbon
8. Most Wanted 2012
7. Pro Street
6. Hot Pursuit 2010
5. Rivals
4. Most Wanted 2005
3. Underground 1 (i don't care about the customization. I love this game because of the city and atmosphere and because it has Nissan Skyline. The soundtrack is great too.)
2. Porsche Unleashed (you may think i am weird, but believe me, i am not. Even tho i haven't played it as a kid, the game still is special for me.)
AND NUMBER ONE (Drum roll)
1. The Run

1. Carbon (Mysterious/Enigmatic, Crews, the canyon races, night time racing, the car list along with the muscle, tuner or exotic classification thing (IMO Carbon has the best car list from all NFS games), great in-race music, good city, good customization system, challenge series, reward cards, and perhaps most importantly... stunning online mode (too bad almost nobody is still playing it online)).
2. MW2005/U2 (tie because I can't decide really)
3. Underground
4. HP2010
5. Undercover
And that's all. It would have been top 10 if I played anything before Underground. Also if I played anything after HP2010. I haven't so yeah.

1: NFSU. Best city scenery, good soundtrack, and who can forget the drawbridge jumps, the S2000 and the Vortex Integra?
2: NFSU2. Sure it's missing some elements that NFSU has, but the fact that Bayview's cool and there's an AE86 makes it #2.
3: NFSMW (05). Best soundtrack, period. Car selection's alright, less but better customization, and it's got alot of action.
4: The Run. Good car selection and a good storyline, but it got boring after completion. You can't even use 90% of the cars in story mode.
5: NFS Carbon. The whole game is mysterious, even the car list. I like the story too, but the soundtrack and the city kinda..suck.
6: NFSMW 2012. Despite the car selection and the soundtrack being complete crap, this game is endless fun. 'Nuff said.
7: NFSW. Well, I have a nearly perfect AE86 on there and my friends sometimes play, that's good enough of a reason IMO.
8: NFS High Stakes. With alittle bit of texture modding this NFS is alright.
9: NFS Porsche Unleashed. This was actually my 1st video game altogether, and Porsche is one of my favorite manufacturers aside from the fact they brought the Carrera GT out of its concept stage -_-
10: NFS Pro Street. Well, it wasn't so great, the soundtrack had maybe 2 good songs, the tracks aside from Texas Motor Speedway, Nevada Desert, Chicago Airfield, and Tokyo Dockyard were boring IMO, but the tuning and the car selection was easily the best out of any NFS, plus the drift physics were the best IMO and same with the drag physics.

I have a top 3 list:
3. Need For Speed Hot pursuit-
This game is soooooooooo freakin' fun. I don't know why, but this game is built so well that it is never too easy or never too hard. It may lack in-depth customization, but it doesn't need it because of how valuable the gameplay is.
2. Need For Speed Prostreet-
I love this game. I go back an play it all the time (but not as much as Carbon). The customization is near-unbeatable, the gameplay is fun and has great variety, and it is well balanced for the most part.
The only reason that this isn't my favorite game of all time is because of how poor the attention to detail was in making this game. There are tons of bugs nearly everywhere: many of the cars are glitched, brake lights never work, and a jagged edge decides to send your car spiraling up into totaled heaven every once in a while.
I think I am going to create a thread about the problems of Prostreet.
Anyway,
1. Need For Speed Carbon-
This is quite possibly the greatest game I have ever played. It has it all: revolutionary customization (autosculpt), new and fresh gameplay (Crews and canyon duels? I would gladly have some more of that!), and it looks nice and has a decent story that fits into gameplay very well. But what really sets this game away from the others is the out-of career gameplay; the challenge series is varied, multiplayer is fun, and there are many, many reward cards to complete. Sure, it gets hard at some parts, but it truly shows you what a racing game should be.
I love it so much I have beaten it at least 10 times.

LOL, i gotta agree that the soundtrack in NFSC kinda sucked for me too. The only song i kinda like is Spank Rock - Tell me what it look like, tell me what it is, tell me what it look like, it look like datadaDAAAAA. Yea, classic. |

Forget the soundtrack, who cares about it since it only plays in Free Roam? Might as well disable it. The in-race music however is great!
