You know Bayview right? It's city where Need For Speed Underground 2 takes place. NFSUG2 featured first open world in NFS series. It's successor Need For Speed Most Wanted mention Bayview often - in Rog's message at start the career, before Razor's duel too(at end of career) and also it's mentioned in Challange Series, more correctly it's Police Department which wasn't seen nowhere(not patrol cruisers itself but Police Stations): At challange #45 we have this description:  In my opinion it can be just simple mention, but it als o may be direct reference to Police feature to NFS UG2(never referenced directly, but NFSU1 had artwork with police cars). Actually, there is a jail building in Underground 1 (spotted that when I was playing on my PS2 once).
Also, what kind of city would be without a police station?

Police force, especialy in big city like Bayview wont "sleep" or be out for some time. Just imagine whole police would leave New York just for one day. It just dont happen irl. Other thing, there was no mention of Police feature for UG2. I'm theorizing about just reference from MW. Not UG2 itself. Other theory is that Bayview must be pretty close to Rockport or be atleast in one state since BPD compete with RPD here. |

As its also mentioned in describtion. 2. It dont need to. Its official name scheme in all states of USA. Its "Bayview Police" which is Bayview Police Department. |

Nah, Civ/police cars challanges are pretty nice break from normal challanges only with higher and higher wanted levels. Normal challanges with 5th level of heat are just after these, so i guess no more mentioning of BPD, sadly. |
